Hi there! I am an independent documentary photographer currently based in Metro Detroit, Michigan. Before transitioning back to my home state, I worked as a staff photojournalist at The News & Advance in Lynchburg, Virginia.
I recently achieved my M.S. in Photography degree from S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. Previous to graduate school, I received my B.A. in Journalism and the Arts in the Humanities with a specialization in visual communications from Michigan State University.
